These Terms of Service govern access to and use of DocTak, a verified medical professional network and clinical workspace operated by Doctak App Developers FZC. By creating an account, browsing public pages, or using any DocTak service, you agree to these terms.
By accessing DocTak at doctak.net or through our mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines posted within the platform.
If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are using DocTak on behalf of a hospital, employer, or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
DocTak is intended for licensed healthcare professionals, medical students in accredited programs, hospitals, recruiters, CME providers, and authorized commercial partners.
You must provide accurate professional credentials during registration. DocTak may verify medical licenses, specialty credentials, and institutional affiliations through primary sources or authorized third parties.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Notify us immediately at support@doctak.net if you suspect unauthorized access. DocTak is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account where you failed to safeguard credentials.
All content published on DocTak — including articles, case discussions, comments, messages, job postings, and meeting materials — must reflect professional medical conduct.
You may not use DocTak to harass, spam, impersonate others, distribute malware, or engage in deceptive commercial practices.
Content on DocTak is for professional education and peer discussion only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations for individual patients.
Clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the treating doctor. DocTak does not replace institutional protocols, peer review, or regulatory obligations.
You retain ownership of content you publish. By posting on DocTak, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service.
DocTak's trademarks, logos, software, and design elements are owned by Doctak App Developers FZC and may not be used without written permission.
Job listings, CME programs, conference listings, and partner integrations may be provided by third parties. DocTak facilitates discovery and workflow but is not the employer, accreditor, or organizer unless explicitly stated.
Applications submitted through DocTak are transmitted to the posting organization. CME credit tracking depends on program accreditation and your completion of required activities.
Our collection and use of personal data is described in the DocTak Privacy Policy. Public profile fields, articles, and job cards are intentionally limited so sensitive workspace data does not appear on guest-facing pages.
Authenticated workspace data — including messages, applications, support tickets, and CME records — remains behind verified sign-in.
Individual doctor accounts include a free tier covering verified profiles, article publishing, job applications, and access to the free CME library.
Hospitals, recruiters, CME providers, and commercial partners may purchase paid plans. Pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation terms are presented at the point of purchase and in organization agreements.
You may close your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support@doctak.net.
DocTak may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose security risks, or are subject to regulatory or legal requirements. Public content may be retained in anonymized form where required by law.
DocTak is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doctak App Developers FZC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sharjah, UAE, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
